APPOINTEESHIPS
Appointeeship fees
ILBP’s appointeeship fees are designed to be clear, fair and fully aligned with local authority charging policies. Most clients do not pay our fees directly; instead, they are treated as a Disability Related Expenditure (DRE) as part of the care charge.
The summary below sets out our standard fee schedule, including where weekly fees apply and the one off costs associated with setting up, moving or closing an account.

Fee schedule overview
Our appointeeship fees differ depending on whether a client
lives in a residential setting (such as a care home) or
in the community. In most cases, the local authority
covers these costs as part of the care package and they
are treated as a
Disability Related Expenditure (DRE).
